State Day Check In

1. Check your tee time

Players who registered online will receive an email with a link to pairings on the TPPOnline website. Pairings also will be available on the TPPOnline Pairings & Results link on www.vswga.org.

2. Check in at the registration table to pay the State Day tournament fee.

• NEW FOR 2017 – THE STATE DAY FEE IS NOW $8. Please pay Cash.

• For an additional $2, players may enter the weekly Closest to the Pin Contest where 50% of the proceeds support Junior Golf.

3. Show Your GHIN Card

If you did not sign up for the State Day using TPPOnline registration, you MUST show a current record of your GHIN card. Acceptable forms of record are GHIN stickers from home club computers, printouts from ghin.com, GHIN revision emails or the GHIN app on your mobile phone. If a player cannot provide acceptable proof, she may still participate in the State Day, but will not be eligible or Award Points.

4. Pay Course & Cart Fees

NEW FOR 2017 – PAY FOR BOTH THE COURSE FEE AND CART FEE IN THE PRO SHOP. Make checks payable to the Club. $20 for 18-hole courses. $15 for 9-hole courses.

When carts are designated as Limited or Fee Required, players MUST reserve their carts by calling the Pro Shop of the State Day course. Cart fees are set by the Pro Shop. If you cancel from a State Day, you must also cancel your cart reservation.

Weather Delays and Tournament Cancellations

The decision to cancel a State Day is not made by the VSWGA but by the Club Pro, Manager or Course Superintendent, based on course conditions or playability.

When the VSWGA office is notified of a cancellation by 5:00 p.m. Monday, an email will be sent to players who registered online. When feasible, a notification will also be placed on the www.vswga.org website.

If a player has not received an email on Monday evening, it is her responsibility to contact the club to see if a tournament has been cancelled or delayed. Players will not be emailed or texted.

In case of storm (thunder & lightning), anyone who feels threatened from an approaching storm may leave the course at any time. Not all courses have a method of alerting players. Check with the Pro Shop.
