Holly Reynolds Wins Par 3 Challenge

Holly Reynolds, former 6-time VSWGA champion and currently a teaching pro at Arrowhead, recently won the first Par 3 Pro
Challenge skins game at Arrowhead Golf Course. Holly was the only woman in the field which
consisted of herself, Mike Swim of Champlain Country Club, Steve Gonslaves of Basin Harbor, and Mike Trono of Williston Country Club. Holly won a carryover skin of $750 with a birdie on the 8th hole. She validated her skin by matching the low score on the next hole.
Mike Swim won the first skin on the first hole, but was unable to validate it when Mike Trono birdied the second hole. Mike was able to validate his skin and won $200. No skins were won on holes 3-7, giving Holly her chance at the carryover. The only other skin was won in extra holes by Mike Swim, who won $350. |
