The second rules seminar of the season was held at Burlington Country Club on September 30th. The seminar was organized by Ann Goodrich of Burlington and presented by Shari Pfannenstein, the VSWGA's Rules Chair, and was attended by about 40 people. The seminar was well-organized, interesting, and very informative. It was also high-tech taking advantage of the computer presentation distributed by the USGA. Shari, who has attended the USGA's rules clinics, does an excellent job of presenting and explaining the often confusing rules of golf. These seminars are well worth attending, even if you think you know the rules. Hopefully, Shari will do more of these seminars next year.

Many of the attendees took advantage of a beautiful autumn day to play nine holes at the country club following the seminar.
