Mary Anne Levins Wins Mid-Am
Mary Anne Levins, of Rutland Country Club, fired a final round score of 71 for a 151 total to edge Andrea Brown of Williston by two strokes. Mary Anne trailed Andrea by 4 strokes after Saturday's round. Andrea paired her opening round of 76 with a 77 to take second place with a 153 total. Deirdre Morris of Proctor-Pittsford played some very steady golf shooting back-to-back 77's for a 154 total a third place. 77 proved to be a popular score for Sunday's round, as Jeanne Morrissey of Williston and Kathy Ford of Woodstock both added 77's to finish fourth and fifth respectively. Andy Raymond of Neshobe, Nancy Gorham-Lasante of St. Johnsbury, Ginnie Vogel and Kathy Allbright of Crown Point, Karen Proia-Thompson of St. Johnsbury rounded out the top ten. Wendy Drolette of Williston took low net honors with a net total of 144, one stroke better than a trio of Brattleboro players; Eileen Ranslow, Sherryl Libardoni, and Cindy Meyer.
