Molly Aronsson Qualifies for USGA Juniors
Molly
Aronsson of Shelburne and the Burlington Country Club fired a round of 73
over the 6000 yard Prestwick Country Club course in Uniontown, Ohio on June 29th to qualify for the 2005
USGA Girls' Junior Championship. The Championship will be held at
BanBury Golf Club in Boise, Idaho on July 18-23.
Last year, Molly finished 5th the State Amateur at the Country Club of Barre with a 3-day total of 238 edging Kimberly Wong for top Junior spot by draining an eagle putt from the fringe on the final hole. Molly also won the VSWGA Junior Girls' Match Play Championship at Ralph Myhre Golf Club again defeating Kim Wong.
