Karen Lewis presented Jeanne Morrissey with a "JAM" cap to commemorate her back-to-back 69's this season. Her first 69 was scored at the Newport state day on July 12th. Shortly after that, she fired another 69 at her home course of Williston. The 69 at Newport sets a new state day record breaking the record of 70 shot by Kathy Kemp in 2000 at Lake St. Catherine and Libby Smith at both Blush Hill and Northfield in 2002. The cap was embroidered by Shari Pfannenstein with the 69's in roman numerals.

Congratulations to Jeanne and all the winners.
