Libby Smith has survived her first cut on the LPGA tour in her fifth start.  She fired a 4-under par 68 today to go with yesterday's 72 to pull up into a tie for 24th in the LPGA Takefuji Classic at the Las Vegas Country Club.  Libby was in the first group off the 10th tee today paired with Maggie Will and Nancy Harvey.

Lorena Ochoa leads  the tournament at -13 with a two stroke lead over Brittany Lincicome.  Libby is only nine strokes back and in a good position to pick up a sizable check if she can continue her good play.  The tournament concludes Saturday.
