
Libby Tied for 28th in Canadian Open

Smith fired a final round score of 70 (2 under par) to go with rounds of
75-71-73 for a 289 total to finish in a tie for 28th in the $1,700,00 CN
Canadian Women's Open at the London Hunt and Country Club in London,
Ontario. This is Libby's second cut on the LPGA tour and her best finish
and biggest
check ($12,900) thus far. Among others in the tie for 28th is hall-of-famer
Beth Daniel.
The
tournament was won by Christie Kerr who fired a 65 to come from several
strokes behind to edge Angela Stanford by one stroke.
Libby's
next event will be next week at the Safeway Classic in Portland, OR.
