Job Description: USGA Golf Intern
Reports to: Director of Administration, Vermont State Women's Golf Association
Hours/Days:
Average 30-40 hours

Overview
The USGA Golf Intern assists the VSWGA Office.
Knowledge and interest in the game of golf, its history and traditions;
Knowledge of the USGA Handicap System and Course Rating System;
Proficiency with Windows, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Publisher;
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
Experience working with volunteers.
General Duties/Member Services
Field incoming inquires from members or other individuals and organizations;
Assist with various mailings and other related activities.
Assist with preparation for the Annual Membership meeting;
Work with Chelsea Tee Time system.
State Days & Tournaments
Communicate and visit host clubs to assist with on-site preparation and processing of State Days and State Tournaments;
Assist in tournament setup (TPP) activities, as well as registrations, reporting results and other duties as needed;
Assist with preparation for Final Awards Day and attend event.
