President’s Report: Sue Ginnett e-mailed the June Agenda as follows:

We have two financial matters, which need to be taken care of.  So we are calling this MINI Meeting to order.

#1. MOTION #1 is-- I MOVE THAT WE PAY JEANNE DIBATTISTO FOR THE 37 ½ EXTRA HOURS THAT SHE WORKED FOR THE VSWGA IN 2007.

#2. MOTION #2 is--I MOVE THAT WE REIMBURSE SUZANNE NEVILLE FOR EXPENSES ASSOCIATED WITH HER TPP TRAINING IN THE AMOUNT OF $541.74.(It is to our benefit to train both Suzanne and John.  The $320 in the budget was just for Suzanne--it did not cover John's expenses.)

The results of the Mini Meeting are as follows:

Motion # 1 to pay Jeanne DiBattisto for an additional 37 ½ hours worked because of my initial error of asking for only 10 hours instead of the requested 47 ½ hours was PASSED.

Motion # 2 to reimburse Suzanne Neville $541.74 for her expenses related to mileage, lodging, and meals incurred when she attended the TTP training was PASSED.

Other Issues:

Pace of Pay:

To make State Day players aware of their Pace of Play and to help the board track slow players:  Elizabeth Walker suggested that State Day players record their starting time--time at the turn--and finishing time on their scorecards at State Days, to become effective June 3, 2008.  The suggestion was approved.

The Members and Management at Williston Golf Course put in a request to cancel the Stableford format for their State Day.

To maintain harmony between the VSWGA and Members / Management at the Williston Golf Club – Mary Corey made a motion to play Medal Play for the Williston State Day and cancel the scheduled Stableford Format.

The vote of the Board was a tie (4 against and 4 in favor or the motion).  Sue Ginnett broke the tie for the motion.

Motion passed.

Meeting adjourned: June 4, 2008.
