Vermont placed two players in the top ten at the New Englands in Rye Beach, NH.  Molly Aronsson, of the Burlington Country Club, fired a final round of 75 to move up to 6th place with a three-day total of 232.  Kim Wong of the Country Club of Barre finished in a tie for 7th slipping a bit in the final round with an 84 for a three day total of 236.  Molly was tied with Daria Cummings at 66 for the ringer prize.

Teo Poplawski of Champlain finished in 12th place tie at 238 with Catherine Shomo of Rutland right behind her in 13th place at 239.  Reggie Parker of Ekwanok finished in 15th place with a total of 241 and also won the senior championship.   Division II high school champion, Kristen Garabedian of Lake St. Catherine finished in 21st place at 248. 

The championship was won by Mary Chamberlain of Massachusetts who fired a final round of 70, the low round of the tournament, to overtake Daria Cummings and win the title by three strokes with a total of 224.  Daria and Sarah Whitney were tied for second at 227.  Alexa Rancourt of Maine finished in 4th place with a total of 230.  Alexa was also the junior champion.

Massachusetts won the Cartin team trophy.
