Important: Golf carts are optional and limited at a cost of $25 per person per day.
You may bring your own caddie.  No parent or guardian is allowed to caddie for juniors.
The use of distance measuring devices will be allowed during this Championship by local rule.

Entry Fee

$150 ( $100 for Juniors as VSWGA will subsidize $50) includes entry fee, practice round,  range balls at a nearby range, continental breakfast each day, barbeque on Wednesday from 12:00 noon to last in, and hors d'oeuvres at awards ceremony on Thursday.

Handicap Limit

Handicap Index 17.4    Revision Date: 5/29/09.                 

Eligibility

A contestant may be any amateur woman with a  USGA  handicap index of 17.4 or less, and must be an active member of one of the New England Women’s Golf Association’s member state associations.  A Junior is any girl who has not reached her 19th birthday by the opening day of the tournament.  A Junior of 18 years of age is eligible to play only if she has not yet begun her first semester of college.  A Junior does not have to be a member of a NEWGA member state association, but must have a USGA handicap index of 17.4 or less.  No parents or guardians are allowed to caddie for juniors.  Seniors must be 50 years old and Legends must be 65 years old by the opening day of the tournament.

Tournament Info

Each state has a quota of 18 players.  The total field will be 108 players and then cut to 70 players including ties for the final round of play including any player within then shots of the leader in player’s respective age category.  The wait list for greater than 18 applicants from a state is divided equally among all states who have a wait list and selected by handicap order.
