Member Entry Fee

$120  (includes entry, practice round, and banquet on Wednesday, July 23th).

Non-Member Fee

$220 for residents who don’t belong to a real estate club in Vermont.  See below.

Practice Round

Anytime after July 5th.  Call Pro Shop at (802) 864-9532 for tee time.

Handicap Limit

36.0 (First 100 with lowest handicap index).  Honorary Members whose  handicap index is above 36.0 may participate and will play at a maximum adjusted handicap of 36.

Age Limit

55 years and older at the start of the Tournament.  Three categories, Senior 55-64, Super Senior 65-69, and Legend 70 and over.  Players may win any of the three categories and place in the top ten gross or net.

9-Hole Tournament

For those women who would like to compete, but who feel that 18 holes day has become too much for them, a two-day 9-hole championship will run concurrently with the Senior Amateur.  To be eligible for the 9-hole event, your handicap must be over 30.0 and you must be 70 years of age or older.  Anyone not meeting these criteria may petition the Tournament Committee for consideration.  Entry fee is the same.

Pat Job Cup

Trophy goes to club with lowest total net score for the three days.


 

Eligibility:  Entrant must be a resident of the state of Vermont, must have resided in Vermont for a minimum of six months immediately preceding the tournament, and must be a member in good standing of a VSWGA golf course
                                                                              or
must have held a golfing membership in a Vermont State Member Golf Course for three consecutive years immediately preceding the tournament.

NEW 2007:
Legal residents residing in Vermont for a minimum of six months immediately preceding  the tournament and not belonging to a real estate club are eligible to play with an increased entry fee. Proof of residency is required. 

All players must have paid the annual $25 VSWGA Tournament Participation Fee prior to the start of the tournament.  No late fee will be charged.  A valid USGA GHIN handicap card is required for all players. 

No golf professional is allowed to caddie for any competitor.
