1999 Tri-State Results

The 47th Annual Women's Tri-State Tournament was held Thursday, June 24 at Green Mountain National Golf Course in Killington, VT. Ninety women from Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont competed in the match play format. Competitors could win a maximum of six points each. New Hampshire won for the first time in seven years with a team total of 97.5 points, followed by Vermont with 84.5 points and Maine with 79 points. Top point getters for Vermont were as follows:



  

Hightlights of the tournament included a hole-in-one on the 13th hole during the practice round recorded by Janet Drouin of Maine, and an outstanding round of 68, just two strokes over the current course record, for Vermont's Kiersten Allbright of Quechee Club.

Next year's Tri-State Tournament will be held at Eastman in New Hampshire.
